I don't even know why they haven't announced a Season 2. The Vol 5 Blu Ray for example sold 33,450 copies. Just what are they waiting for? They should have done a Season 2 a long time ago while its still popular.

They were easily making millions of dollars per volume with the TV releases. Vol 6 again sold 32,385 copies on Blu Ray. With this level of support, a second season should have been announced sooner. No kidding a movie would bring in more money over the short term, but merchandising sales + strong BD sales for a potential second season would far eclipse that over the long term.
The end made me hungry.
Watching the OVA is the best way to get one craving for Italian food.
Come for the tanks, stay for the girls.

One of the things I loved about G & P was the way they used live ammo with tanks turning over and bursting into flames etc, and just never explained how nobody ever got hurt. So funny.
Realistically, they should have some cuts and bruises, even some broken bones from the concussive force of some of the impacts. A concussion is a likely thing too, but they covered that I believe when one of the characters was knocked out.
Haha yeah, if anything the girls should have a few broken bones, and concussion. Well if we're talking about realism. The concussive force of the impact in some scenes would do this.

Depending on the power x distance the shot itself does not destroy the tank, but who is inside fatally not escape to a real attack, old tanks has low internal shielding anti impact ...
At minimum burst eardrums .. (best bet is that the anime is used artillery with little power of destruction)
It takes more than one shot to destroy a tank completely, and when said tank gets a good hit, a white flag appears. The flag means stop firing, they DQ'd.
