@12:34 - but, at least in the case of an age over 21, that would never, ever happen because there would be no logic behind changing the age of consent to an age above 21. probably even more than even biological, mental, or sexual growth reasons, the age of consent is what it is because it coincides with the age of highschool graduation and the end of manditory childhood education. among many other risks, an underaged girl having sex is jeopardizing her education and her future, especially due to the risks of pregnancy... if a responsible adult is selfishly taking part in that jeopardization then they deserve to face the law. also, it's always ben a fact that most adults are attracted to other adults of a similar age and that being sexually attracted to anyone who is not an adult is abnormal and thus it is clasified by ts own terms. the meaning of 'lolicon' is basically the equivalent of the english terms of ephibophile, hebephile, and pedophile. the term was created to encompass both 2d and 3d. i'm not making up the rules myself here, i've read about all this from people who study it.

After all, college education is almost de facto compulsory these days, and in the US, there's the argument of "if you can't drink until you're 21, you shouldn't be able to have sex either" available. Some brain research suggests that certain decision-making regions don't fully develop until the mid-20s, laying the groundwork for a future 25ish AoC.

For political ::reasons::, the AoC can only ever be ratcheted upwards -- anyone who opposes increasing it gets branded with the "pedophile defender" label. College may be practically mandatory these days, but the fact is it isn't.
