Japanese free-to-play game publisher Cyberstep is preparing for the somewhat anticipated English launch of their latest MMORPG Onigiri, and have uploaded two tentacular onsen PVs in a wry bid to capture their target audience…
The PVs:
Onigiri is an anime-inspired “f2p” third-person online game involving plenty of scantily clad girl-on-oni action.
In Japan, the game is available currently on PC and PS4, and will soon be available there even on the Xbox One, while western players for the time being will get a piece of the action through the launch of the English PC version on July 1st.

Please, do tell. I saw Onigiri at a convention, talked to one of these guys and they explained that players need to pay for high level skills. It's pay to progress, AKA pay to win.
Wildstar is the same thing, only you have to pay for the box and pay a subscription fee...
You see, at 'elder game' you have to either grind for a full year to max out your skill points (AMP POINTS/ ABILITY POINTS), or spend $40 real money for CREDD to sell for plat to purchase each and every of the 17 extra points you need to cap out to be optimized for end game.
or you know.... not suck and make money by playing :P

Not to mention it has crappy boring dudes who alone ruined this game.
It actually had some potential except its very on rails click on this quest ill take you to the npc/ destination. That and the game has a massive delay for all actions.
Yah looks like at best PS3 level graphics and the characters have very jerky and wooden movements.
The only good thing it's not one of those crappy phone games that spy on you.
Closed Beta was fine but I wonder how the cashshop is going to be considering CyberStep wrecked CosmicBroken with Pay2Win. It may work out.. Maybe.. There is no PvP so far.. so being steamed by some ass who dumped hundreds just to be able to win a match wont be around in this game.
Well, half a day away until launch and we'll find out.

I was PLANNING to install this game on my computer, but my computer is not designed for for playing ONIGIRI because of the SPECS requirements, that requires a bit more firepower processor, memory & Video Card, adding SSD is a plus for loading speed, and connecting to japanese server makes us LAG.
Wha you must have a really crappy computer as the required specs are pretty low.
Really unless it's very poorly codded even one of those chromebooks or AMD fusion APU should be able to handle it as the visuals are very unimpressive.
So is this what mmos are coming to now?

Onigiri is definitely going to be a "pay2win" game like Cyberstep's Cosmic Break. The more money you charge, the more powerful your characters will be. One of the top players in Cosmic Break (Charlotte member) has donated over $18000 US in 2 years to get all the powerful moe bots he wanted. Some players have spent hundreds of dollars on "garapon" and got nothing. The garapon rates are so bad that one of my clanmates ended up deleting his CB account. I highly suggest everyone not to play any of their games since Cyberstep will rob not just your wallet but your entire bank account. They're one of the greediest gaming companies out there. Beware
