News of a movie in production for romance resolution anime Date A Live has been divulged, and looks sure to abound with more of the service and thrilling action sequences the series is known for.

Watch the movie budget be worse than S2.
I doubt that, they charge enough for these movies. The Idolmaster one for example is 8700 yen in Amazon Japan, they often have screenings in movie theatres too where they make money off that. It'll likely have a budget of 4-5 episodes(If you imagine the length).
At least the first season made some sense.
I have no idea wtf the second season is about. I just watch it for the pretty girls really.

I'd rather they did another season that follows the plot of the 3rd or 4th game.

The light novels were really good. The anime sucked at adapting them.
Yeah I doubt that. The generic archetypes just got more convoluted as the story went along and that is a problem caused by poor writing, by the main author.
agree , nowadays anime studios make bullshit adaptions of novels. An exemple being Campione where they kept only fanservice and cut off the interesting things.
Campione was ok for the most part. Not impressive, but ok. But changing the first episode and the last arc like they did basically killed any chances for a sequel....
