The corner-cutting/animation upgrade marketing studio Shaft has held fast to its namesake yet again with the recent “debasement” of Nisekoi‘s 3rd BD, questionably removing several of the once gorgeous and artistically constructed backdrops and replacing them with abstract designs more reminiscent of a Monogatari.
The BD can be seen on the right, with the original and to some at least highly preferable TV version on the left:
Omake:
Looks like BD worse than TV
I’ve always liked SHAFT’s BDs more… and while I didn’t like Nisekoi, I don’t think I’d watch the BD…
Like, I love SHAFT, but the only thing I really liked about the show was that while it WAS from SHAFT, it wasn’t overly “SHAFT” like the BDs are, and even then, the BDs SHAFTing looks lazy and poorly done…
You know… nobody wants to dump money into something that isn’t their cash cow.
I dont understand why they would do that…id rather download the TV version instead.
Leave it to Shaft to make the BD releaae worse.
They just keep screwing up, lately.
TV is better…
