Tokyo has clarified its decision to ban Imouto Paradise for “improperly glorifying incest” – revealing that it now uniquely defines “glorification” as “not depicting as bad.”
An Asahi interview with Tokyo’s youth protection department’s chief PR flack reveals the city now considers any manga or anime which so much as fails to condemn incest as hardcore pornography.
The interviewer, having just read the manga, concedes it clearly deals with incest but is at a loss as to how it could be considered to be “improperly glorifying incest”:

It’s the story as a whole. It’s a mistake to think we are just looking at a single part. Simply put, we are looking at how the story depicts incest, how the main characters think of it, and the like.
“Glorifying” in this case is “thinking it is not bad,” isn’t it?
