Cast Jamming is a type of Non-Systematic Magic able to create psion noise that disrupted other people from casting magic. The psion noise caused by Antinite was designed to interfere with the formation of Magic Sequences.
Tatsuya simply decomposed that design and changed the oscillations of the psion noise.
Cast Jamming was an obstacle that obstructed the path of Magic Sequences. It was precisely this obstacle that Tatsuya used magic to dissolve.

And yeah I dont get it either : the novel full of explanations and stuf but what all comes down to it is : yeah anime logic thing dont think to much about it.
Simple explanation : Tatsuya's personal speciality is dismantling things. So he dismantles cast jamming the same way he dismantled the terrorist's guns in the previous scene.
tatsuya is born with an enhanced subconciousness, this enbles him to cast dismantling and cast jamming, but cripples his general skills.

The explanation in the novel is something along the lines "Tatsuya's personal magic does not target reality but the blueprint of reality in the magic dimension, so cast jamming or counter spells does not work against that, the only way to stop it is using brute force, making a cannonball of magic particles and blowing the spell itself before it activates".
He hacks. Honestly, Tatsuya is broken beyond comparison. The BS he pulls off made me give up on the novels. You'll know what I mean when the anime catches up with novel 7 (the sequence show in the first episode).
Yeah, but it actually handles his being broken very well. Because is basically says that in the grand scheme of things, being the most powerful being in the universe means shit, and politics is still a powerful way of getting people to do what you want. Also, Volumes 1-7 were basically just one long intro. Come the later volumes, once Tatsuya is matched against his true peers the fights look more evenly matched.
Right now, he's just a shark swimming in a very small pond.
In fact, the series places more emphasis on compatibility than power later on. It's said, for example, that Tatsuya could kill one of the world's most feared magicians, Yotsuba Maya because his decomposition matches her speciality magic perfectly, but he has a really tough time fighting Tomitsuka, another High School student simply because he can also use a type of counter magic and Tatsuya wins adding ki to magic... Cheating, basically LOL

as with any other anime, almost Anyone would say. If you're a novel reader, You'd LOVE to see your favorite characters actually SPEAKING and MOVING, would you not? No? Well, others would.
Almost anyone would love to see their favorite characters speaking and moving. But what if the animators and directors did a shit job and it doesnt live up to the expectations of the viewers. Thats why most people complain about the novel being better, because a persons imagination will (more often than not) be better than the anime. Yes, i know most of us have no right to complain because we're not funding them, but still, we have a right to voice our opinion.

It isn't necessarily better in your imagination, it's just different. But you are used to your own version, so seeing a different one automatically causes uneasiness.

People can voice their opinions, but hearing "The manga/novel is better" is quite common, and not really saying it as an opinions, but looks more like they're saying it as if it's a fact.
Not all people say it cuz the anime "doesn't live up to their expectations". They might like the anime but simply think the book/original source is better than the anime. They may be haters that you see just as with ppl who say things are "Over hyped", "Overrated, "Poorly done/shitty", etc.
