Top 10 Spring 2014 Anime “According To Girls”

With the spring’s anime half finished, further efforts to rankify them are underway – and this time with over half the voters being women, it comes as no surprise that the top spot is held by the fiendish male-centric soccer anime Haikyu, the latest in Shonen Jump’s long line of healthy boy-on-boy fujoshi blockbusters…
The ranking, based on Japanese music site RecoChoco’s less than otaku-centric userbase – and with 58.7% of the voters female and 40% under 20, it not wholly surprising that over 90% of the top spot’s votes came from women as well:

Mahouka being no.2 doesn't surprise me, neither doers no.5... I dunno about the rest of the list... Ishukan... well, I was expecting more from it, it's just boring, but not boring enough for me to drop it...

I really like isshukan Friends. It's pretty fun for me. mahouka, Pretty fun. No. 5 too. I actually like almost everything on the list.
I agreed with your opinion on isshuukan. At first, the premise looks interesting- with all the memory reset and re-befriending stuff but then it changes to a pretty typical teen S.O.L+romance. And don't get me started with the dialogue lines; most of them are too artificially/forcefully sweet, I might contract diabetes while puking my guts out especially during any of the rooftop/lunch scenes.

I'm honestly surprised Jojo isn't ahead of Mahouka. I'm also surprised Mahouka is on the list at all - couldnt even get past the first episode it was so badly written and I'm finding myself more and more allergic to incest for the sake of fanservice - unless things really picked up after the shakey beginning.

To be fair a lot of guys have proven their shitty taste in previous rankings as well. I agree and disagree with this ranking about as much as with any which is dominated by male voters.
