So it seems like Chaika somehow had herself split up into many different Chaikas. Whether it was done to her or she did it herself she has also lost her memories. Comparing just the white vs red Chaikas, their body types are different (red has bigger boobs), their personalities are obviously different, and their skills are different (white=magic, red=sword fighting).
People also often talk of numerous sightings of Chaika, so there are most likely many more Chaikas. They might all have another one of the original Chaika's skills and a different personality (and they'll all get crushes on Toru and he will end up with a Chaika harem, hurrhurr)
There's also the scar on her neck; maybe that means her head(s) were sewn onto random female bodies(different body types again), her memories were erased and the Chaikas were sent off into the world by some evil people to gather the Gaz relics for them. [idk how they got tons of different Chaika heads though (using magic!)]
I'm guessing it's more along those lines, and the Chaikas are being used/manipulated, not that she did it by choice. What do you guys think?

It was also brought up during the anime that all of them might be real because they all could be real daughters, just from different mothers all named Chaika. But the scar and the confession from the first hero (of having killed Chaika) do make what you are saying plausible.
