Moero Chronicle, Compile Heart’s latest PSV addition to its disturbingly sexualised lineup, is definitely proving itself more than worthy of its “D” rating, with plenty of appropriately built monster musume in evidence – fortunate indeed, as they are perhaps the only sort western fans will ever be allowed.

Localization companies to consumers if this ever comes over: HOPE YOU LIKE CENSORSHIP AND PAYING FOR AN INCOMPLETE PRODUCT :D
This is the kind of game that there is no point in localizing if you're not expecting to release it as 18+ anyways.
You're quite uninformed, the only censored Japanese RPG to come out in English in recent years was Mugen Souls(Loli bathing game), every other game has been left alone be it Atelier, Hyperdimension, Disgaea etc. No censorship.
monster monpiece come to my mind ...
I'm talking about RPGs not card games. That's not a JRPG.
Don't forget Bravely Default.
Not only was the costumes censored but the dialogue as well. Fucking bullshit.
Dialogue shouldn't apply, we're talking about the T&A and general fanservice stuff here.
Oh shut up we're talking about censorship in general you fucking tool. And in case you didn't notice the same game is censoring T&A.
None of the dialogs were censored in bravely default
Only the outfits
@09:34
Angry much.
@12:10
Go to a few threads and read up.
The dialogue was censored AND altered, there's a few japanese speakers that confirm this.
Mugen Souls, Mugen Souls Z, Tera, Bravely Defaul. Monster Monpiece (and you saying "I was talking about JRPG's not card games is a bullshit cop-out by the way, since what genre the game is doesn't fucking matter when it comes to game censorship).
In Europe Agarest War 2 was also censored to take out an entire game mechanic, cg's and character arc. You think -I'M- Ill informed, but you clearly aren't aware of the rampant increasing game censorship going on right now, and the discussion monpiece turned up had one community manager for xSeed talking about how these localization companies are actively looking for ways to censor their games to make them have a widespread audience and appeal to everyone rather then just their niche.
If you want to keep paying for incomplete products be my fucking guest but don't tell me I'm ill informed when it doesn't seem like you've done your research.
I mentioned Mugen Souls. Mugen Souls Z isn't out yet. Tera is a MMORPG(Not a JRPG), and Monster Monpiece is a card game. You only have like 2 legitimate examples there. There have been dozens of JRPGs released here.
Also how does the European release of Agarest 2 apply here? The American edition wasn't censored, the actions of one small company shouldn't tarnish an otherwise decent release.
Neonie is clearly suffering from tiny penis syndrome.
Hmmm...? Conception 2 kept all the slutty outfits and "star baby making" to use a fairly recent one.
Yeah but Conception 2 is boring trash.
Oh it aint that bad... demo was pretty fun ^ ^
I was planning on getting this game but it has a male MC, so no thanks.
Sounds like you have penis envy
i saw the gameplay. looks very old so won't buy it.
Tall chick with the dark blue hair is lanky as hell.
Maybe that's because its the "male" MC
pastels are really getting old
Lol spare clothes
Hey when you're on the road and always traveling, it's a good idea to have spare clothing with you.
Please don't localize this to the west; instead release an English language DLC for the Japanese version.
This game will either never get localize or it will get censored. Getting the Japanese copy with English text might be the best option for us to enjoy it.
Random Idiot
Problem is very few people import games from Japan since it is cumbersome and expensive.
Trying to sell the Japanese version in western stores (including online retailers and PSN downloads) will require them to satisfy the western censors.
Your only options to enjoy this kind of content in its original form are to learn Japanese, hope some fan translation project somehow releases it (being for the not-yet-hacked PS Vita makes that hard) or replace your censorship-friendly politicians with someone who's actually willing to do their job instead of getting rid of civil liberties and making their corporate friends richer.
Or they could make a no region locked version with a language choice?
Psvita has no region lock.
Nintendo and perhaps Microsoft (Xbone was planned to be locked) are really the only ones who still region lock. Any games that are region locked are because of the game developers.
Region locking consoles and their games should not exist.
Translations cost money. They won't do it unless they think it will sell in enough numbers.
To do that, they need to offer it at retail shops, non-Japanese PSN, etc.
They cannot sell their game in the west if it has not been approved by the western censors. Language is not the issue, retailers will just refuse to put a game on their shelves if it has not been rated by a western censorship organization.
Any games on the Playstations that are region locked are because of the game developers.*
They don't HAVE to use retailers.
00:08
In a bit of irony, xbox was only region locked because the Japanese developers demanded it.
And that is likely why Nintendo went back to region locking, with the 3DS too.
Why must Japanese developers be such autistic control freaks? The oh, that's so they can demand more money in licensing agreements just does not hold water anymore. I think P4 proved that, when they locked it just because they were afraid Japs would reverse import the cheaper NA release.
The only problem is the main dude, he looks kinda lame.
Ahh... Yet another shitty moeblob game relying on CHARACTER DESIGNS ALONE to carry itself.
Pass.
Jeez, what an ignorant bastard....
Oh, so you're implying any games regardless of which countries it is from, as long as the visual and story is decent but not over the top, you will buy it?
Lets be honest, who doesn't like pretty arts? If that didn't matter, why all the fuss about 2D versus 3D argument on gaming sites. Nowadays which game doesn't rely on visual arts to grab consumer's attention.
Games is an entertainment media just like Manga & Anime, they fall into various genres and categories. There is always something for everyone, keep your biased opinion to yourself if it doesn't suits you but don't go assuming everyone has the same taste as you.
I ain't implying anything. All I'm saying is that this game is yet another game that has veeeeeery little substance and is made for people who just enjoy the "pretty moe characters" the gameplay is bare bones and so is the story and characterization most of the time.
This game is YET ANOTHER game that relies on it looking pretty to draw in people. Nothing else. Yes, I like the pretty design. Are the designs alone going to get me to buy the game? Hell no. What I look for in games is solid gameplay of which these games have none.
I'm not gonna keep my biased opinion to myself cause why the hell would I? You get to say you like certain things so I get to say that I don't. You're being just as biased as you accuse me to be. I am not assuming everyone has the same taste as me. I recognize that they don't. All I'm doing is stating my opinion, just as you are.
Never buy a censored product.
I'm a westerner and what is this? This is too much for my poor coddled western mind to understand. Please make this stop.
Does this one have a story and actual gameplay or is it like every other loli game out there.
My guess its just like every other Moeblog lolitard game
What an ignorant piece of shit...
This ain't a loli game. The characters are all disgusting cows.
Must import. i LOVE the vita.
Wow, I bet Kotaku would be shocked and outraged to know that women actually had a hand in designing this shit if that pantsu designer video is for reals.
The best ero dungeon crawler game ever made is still Tsurupeta-Kyou no Yabou. All delicious dfc loli monsters, all rapeable in a variety of ways. We sorely need another game of the sort, with fully rapable loli monsters.
waaa, even if you pay me 100000$ for a short video like this, I wouldn't want to be the one who presents it, really no, im way too embarrassed
btw I really want to play the English version of it haha
2nd clip: psv fapping
I think some japanese games can be downloaded or bought on the android market without censorship. I had no issues finding freemium games with no "localization" that is, card games that have pictures like the japanese version of monpiece monster. I think there is also a samsung market on all samsung phones to dodge western censorship.
