if only the show had a budget
Quite uninformed. The show looks like it has a typical budget for this genre of anime.
I honestly think that the lack of animation is intentional at this point.
Aye, as said above. The shows budget seems normal compared to other shows in this genre.
That's what I've been thinking since first few seconds of ep 1. I don't think they'd bother airing an anime if it lacks budget to be decent, But every now and then, a unique-looking animation looks nice.

*Haven't seen Akuma no riddle past ep 1* Well, it didn't really show Too much yuri/ecchi scenes in akuma no riddle, while this show is basically nothing without the ecchi. And it showed plenty of girl x girl Action in this episode, apparently.

I find it funny that this article has the yuri tag while two of Akuma no Riddle's don't.
This ep showed Female x Female in an Obvious way, And Ecchi makes up this whole show. Akuma no riddle on the other hand, I haven't seen past ep 1 so I haven't really seen much Yuri action, But that show isn't MAINLY Ecchi, but more focused on the story with the Assassinations and stuff. Diz show = nothing without ecchi... I think. They should've put yuri tag on Akuma No Riddle tho.
