Sure, why not. And they could all have silly names like Kane or The Undertaker, and elaborate dumb story lines that they act out during pre-determined matches. I reckon the American audiences would lap that sweaty action up.
Personally I'd prefer it stick to the female wrestlers, but change things so that a friendly tentacle monster happens to live underneath the wrestling ring. That'd be pretty swell. That's just my personal taste though of course. :)
I really dislike this stupid bitch Squeezel's idea. But I don't think you should make funny of The Undertaker. Some fans haven't gotten over his recently-broken streak.
I don't actually know anything about American Pro Wrestlers really. Those were just the first two names that came to mind. Had no idea he lost a streak or whatever. It's not my thing. (Apologies for the poke at Americans too... :P )
Myself though, I just really dislike the ironic anti "Fuckjoshit" nonsense that turned up on Sankaku ever since Artefact trolled everyone by putting up articles on a girls anime. A bunch of hentai praising otaku getting so offended by the reverse gender version of themselves is just so sad and stupid to watch.
Mark Calaway and Glenn Jacobs are two actors who play ~characters~ called "The Undertaker" and "Kane" on the WWE soap opera. Who gives two shits about a "streak"? It's all pre-planned and scripted anyway. The action and stunts are real but they're done in a professional manner so as to avoid actually hurting the other guy.
Male wrestles......sure and they be BISHONENS who have lots of oil in his very toned bodies and beautifull faces..........
And more authentic? really? this anime is more authentic to many circuits of Wrestling of this days lol.
