Sega Hard Girls Nets Anime

One time console maker Sega have announced an anime featuring the anthropomorphisations of its ancient game consoles – a move sure to provoke plenty of nostalgia and much bitter moaning about the company’s current state among moe-minded gamers.
In fact originating as a light novel series, “Sega Hard Girls” encompasses a large roster of sweet girls that take on the likeness of former Sega consoles (as designed by Miku papa Kei), several of which are so obscure as to give even the more hardcore gaming historians pause:

I don't think they have every profile done yet, or at least SANKAKU hasn't posted every profile.
From the main picture, I suspect the Master System is represented by the girl above the star on the left (wearing black with red accents), or perhaps he girl above the 32X girl. I wonder if they'll have girls for both the Master System and the Mark III (the Japanese version, same hardware but different appearance)?
Speaking of the Master System, though, if I were in charge of writing this anime, I'd make the Master System girl Japanese-Brazilian, in honour of the country where they were still pumping out new Master System games until at least the late 1990s.
The Nintendo Entertainment System might have reigned supreme in the 8-bit wars in the United States, but the Sega Master System was predominant in parts of Europe and especially Brazil.
1) These news are almost as ancient as consoles themselves.

Third from the bottom. Notable absences from Sega CD, Sega Master System, and the lesser known SG-1000 though. Odd they would have the 32x and not the Sega CD, considering both were expansions for the Genesis/Megadrive.
That second to last looks to be the TeraDrive? That's probably the strangest inclusion of them all.
From the title shot I'd venture that not all the characters are represented here. I count 17 or so, which I can't even think of 17 SEGA consoles. I guess they could be doing accessories too, seeing as the VMU got a character.
Yeah, I didn't even hear about the TeraDrive before looking at those pics. Thank god for Wiki, though... it's described as being a flop and extremely rare on the current market. Combine that with the fact that, being a glorified MegaDrive attached to a PC, it literally has no worthwhile exclusive content, and it's no wonder the thing managed to escape my knowledge.
So basically, this is Neptunia with Sega hardware. Would love to watch.

It's a shame Sega didn't have more money, they could have stuck with the Dreamcast longer, it's done better in its short life than Nintendos flop the Wii U has done so far lol.

Google made that offer, Sega turned it down. Google was willing to fund a new Console designed by and under control of Sega... the response back was "We do not want to return to the home console market..."
Sega will never make money, because they're Sega ... Sega and money are like matter and antimatter: should they ever come together, they will both self-destruct. The management of Sega knows that and will do whatever they can to avoid making money ...
What's funny they could have easily out did Sony and Microsoft with a new console.
Take a i5 or Power 7 based quad core chip or even two Celeron dual cores with a 3Ghz clock and pair it with a good cheap but still fast discrete GPU chipset and they could have made jokes about blast processing once again.
Really it would be laughably easy to match the Xbox One and not really all that hard to beat it while keeping the price in the same range.

Moe is not quality. It's a lack there of. It's the equivalent of taking a rusty spoon and painting over the rust. Simpletons are distracted by the glitter while everyone else can see that it's just a piece of crap with a new paint job.
Imo moe is good, too much is boring. reasons why everything has to be cute (obviously). if there is a male MC he is absolutely useless and would have been better off with a female MC (even though they are just as useless). finally it really looses my interest because of how many anime cliches there are in almost all off today's anime's especially the moe filled one's. not to offend anyone I'm just stating my reasons for why this could be bad. that doesn't mean I'm not going to watch it if anything I'm looking forward to this.
