The debut of Vocaloid song series Kagerou Project‘s anime adaptation (Mekaku City Actors) has garnered some positive reception with its stellar blend of Miku-inspired moe holo-vocaloids and future-technology infused action sequences – amplified by plenty of Shaft’s trademark head tilting and ADD scene transitions.

Like I said it's like watching it on LCD. nothing makes sense and you're still suffering the bad side-effects.

agreed. i dont care if its minimalism. it looks boring. The world feels dead and empty and it feels like only the few main characters really exist while they sit there and talk to each other.
That's the point. SHAFT show are like theater shows - they have decoration, stage and actors. It's like movies vs. theater.

Yeeeeah, this is not off to a good start at all.
I must stress this shouldn't stop anyone from checking out the manga. This is one of those instances of a bad adaptation of originally good material.
Being that it was animated by SHAFT, I expected good stuff, but if things keep like this next week, Mekakucity Actors may be shafted to my dropped list quite quickly.
The moe Holo-vocaloid caught my eye. Can I trust this series will make good fap material? TIA
I hated her, she was really obnoxious. Her annoying behaviour made me wanna drop the series.
