Chuunibyou at number 2 with Golden time nowhere to be seen? I guess PS3 users hate romcoms with actual development.
Golden Tiem isn't top tier worthy.
Golden Time is awesome.
Golden Time is shit
Golden Boy kisses toilets.
except Golden Time's development is actually shitty forced drama. No wonder people will hate it. Wanna see real development? Try Gin no Saji
True, aside from the smughorse arc, which felt really contrived and silly.
Gin no Saji is one of the most boring anime of all time.
I liked some of it, but the pacing was so damn slow with everything! Music was slow and soft, story was slow, interactions was slow, dialog was slow, switching between scenes was slow. SLOW! The director seems to be an old man that have issues with things going fast.
@11:38 15/04/2014
Don't say "slow". Hp optimized.
6th most recorded series... Mahou Sensou. Probably used it to punish misbehaved kids.
Yeah, the ending to Mahou Sensou sucked. i'm wondering how they could have ended an anime like that. Talk about the ultimate WTF anime of the season.
It's not the ending, the anime from the beginning was basically so bland as if the author wrote it with a book of overused anime cliches as a reference.
Some of the weapons design were nice and original, but apart from that the anime has absolutely nothing unique to present.
The clichéd evil big brother vs little sister who cares for said brother plot made me lol. So overused.
I didn't not like kill la kill.
So you liked it.
Probably get "killed" for this, but Kill la Kill is way to overrated in my opinion.
Don´t worry, it is common that there are always a few people with shit taste like you.
In fact, shit taste is mostly attributed to people who loved KlK.
The fanbase is evidence to that phenomenon.
Same can be said for just about any show someone isn't into. Simple solution: Get over it.
This. A million times this.
Anime "fans" need to get the fuck off it when people like shows they don't like. There are plenty of anime that I dislike/hate with a passion but the difference is I don't bitch and moan about it. Man up, stfu, and move on.
^ This comment right here. Some people need to grow up.
I ould like 19:30's and 2:21's comment If I could.
Agree. KLK looked like american cartoon crap and was even made like it.
Congratulations, most retarded comment on Sankaku in a while and that is one hell of an anchievment!
Don't foget Attack on Titan too is overrated
Theres people who like white sheep, people who like black sheep, even people who like the uglyass gray sheep.
I wouldn't say it's that much more overrated than Chuuni 2, Nisekoi, Noragami, Space Dandy, or that godawful Witch Craft Works anime.
People enjoyed KlK, therefor giving it a good rating. Simple as that.
well, its not like a professional rating anyway, if it is most of them wouldnt be qualify to be on the list
btw
I enjoy
2,3,4,11,12,20 the most
Another guy who thinks he's being cool by not liking what other people like.
I've enjoyed KLK like no other anime in years. It was epic, hilarious and intense. Although the story is a complete nonsense and the plot is less deep than a puddle. In overall KLK is a very good (understanding good as enjoyable) anime.
Sorry about my bad english.
Oh, please. If I were to say so myself, the fame of Kill La Kill is much more respected than the fame of SAO.
Of course KLK was highly recorded - it was mostly targetted to young teen boys, and they don't stay up that late.
and men stays up watching cartoons.
seems legit.
We've all stayed up late watching anime at least once in our lives. Fuck me, I've done it plenty when something new is out that im desperate to watch, tiredness be damned im watching.
so, it's a basis on manhood? you know, some of these 'young boys' don't stay up late just for anime unless they are otakus no?
Magical Warfare over Witchcraft, Zvezda, D-Frag and most importantly, Mikakunin?
The fuck kinda bullshit is this.
>6. Magical Warfare
That blow my sides and any credibility this list could have
Its not like it was a voted list, it's hard facts from info of DVR recordings.
Granted I cant say I was a fan of that one either, dropped it at Ep3 after straining to get through it.
Ranking based on DVR recordings is even less meaningful than the usual user-driven votes we see around here.
I couldnt even get past the first episode. It was just THAT bland and generic.
lol mahou sensou but no nagi asu or golden time
6. Magical Warfare (Mahou Sensou)
Who in the FLYING FUCK actually liked this show?
I slogged through the entirety of it and it was garbage.
Way too generic, characters were so abrasive, and there was no weight at all to the conflict.
That ED song was badass, though.
Nobody ever claimed the anime on those list are liked by anyone. They're just most recorded.
Didn't you ever record shows you never even ended up watching but recorded them anyway? I did back in the VHS days.
Why would anyone want to record Magical Warfare? It was so awful even you could write a better anime Chen-04.
Who knows, once upon a time I recorded Wolfs Rain and I will never know why. Maybe the name sounded cool and the first time I checked it out was after I had recorded everything.
Magical Warfare is a pretty cool sounding name, too.
No, never, why would you record something you didn't want to watch.
No Nobunagun, no SYD S2, Mahou Sensou at #6, no Log Horizon, no Golden Time.
What even is this list?
Log Horizon and Golden Time are anime of autumn.
That's true, but if this list worked that way Kill la Kill wouldn't be on it.
Log Horizon Season 2 this year too. Me thinks it'll continue to have higher production values than Sword Art Online too.
Log Horizon and Golden Time are anime of autumn.
Log Horizon was great. An intellectual anime that seems to be too boring for some. But to be fair to them, it did lack character growth and action many times which is what many prefer. Personally I saw the growth in other areas - such as their discoveries of world spells, politics, etc.
My only complaints: Too little screen time for Akatsuki! And, I wanted to get some back story and see how it started before they got stuck in there.
