From the description, I didn't think I'd like it, but so far, I do. Dunnow about it being the best for me, as this season seems especially strong for my taste, but it sure seems good to me.

I don't know if it is the best of the season, I would have to go with Mahouka Koukou no Rettousei (sort of like anesthetic of a rouge hero, with a lot less fan service) so far. but this does seem interesting, I have to admit.
If you think this good episode, the next episode literally the protagonist will try to have sex with the girl slammed the door. I read it in the manga.

This looks nice but the art style seems a little odd, I'll have to check this out once a few more episodes come out.
The illustrator, who is also the author of the book is known for his slightly abnormal and colorful illustration. Not sure if it has to do with him growing up in Brazil

No, he illustrates and writes the LNs. The MANGA he writes, his wife (Mashiro) illustrates.
