Anime fans have yet again been quizzed as to who their most beloved seiyuu of the moment are, leading to some rather unsurprising results, be it by their recurrent and widespread talent or recent association with a work of overpowering popularity – and not much in the way of newcomers, age and marital status evidently having not been too much of a problem of late.
The ranking, based on a survey of several thousand anime fans, handily divides the results by gender:

Nana Mizuki being that high sure is surprising since she is pretty much a singer instead of a seiyuu.

Itou Shizuka didn't even make this list as! As usual I look at these top 10's just so I can continue to hate them.
I bet people will say the same thing anyway if those seiyuu is on the top 10, but that time, they'll say for those that missing in the list.
It's just human nature to support what is not there when it's actually on the list but just not on the top 10.

Hayashibara, Inoue, Hisakawa and Mitsuishi are already past their prime. I mean, these are indeed gold standard, but generations change and their new roles are dwindling. It shouldn't surprise anyone that recently converted anime fans don't recognize any of them.
I honestly don't know any Voice actors or their names since I don't pay attention to those.. But just saying, Everyone has their own opinions. This list could be just perfect for you and matches you exactly, or this list could be different from your favorites.

Which Inoue? Is even Marina Inoue past her prime now? This does not have anything to do with being old, we old otakus like a lot of the most recent batch of seiyuus. But we don't forget the ones who were here before, and of course we compare. And not always the old beats the new, neither the contrary.
well, just gotta understand that old (otaku) guys are pretty stubborn in letting go of the past.
This is a list of currently popular seyiuu, if it was a all time best`s list, Megumi Hayshibara would be in No.1 spot for me too.
And Takehito Koyasu for males.
