I'm surprised by Jigoku Shoujo? Just what the hell are people expecting? I like the series but the only logical end they could give to Ai is simply to either pass on to heaven or be freed from hell and live as a human in the real world. If you consider that she's technically still Hell Girl now anyway doing the same stuff she normally does, it doesn't need a sequel or movie.
I'm surprised Gundam SEED didn't make the list. As far as I'm aware, the movie still hasn't been officially cancelled, though perhaps it has been quietly forgotten about.

Gundam Seed wasn't shit. Gundam Seed Destiny was shit.
I still to this day wonder what happened for them to get Seed Destiny so wrong. They had the perfect opportunity to make a quality sequel but they just failed so badly. From the butchering of characters and relationships in the show to the general decline in the writing as the show went along, it said it all when they brought Kira back because they simply ran out of ideas. I wasn't against his return but they went through all the effort to introduce new characters and it should have been a positive thing, it wasn't.
Shinn Asuka would have been a decent protagonist if he wasn't a puppet for Ray. Also his emo sister complex thing, yeah his sister died but come on. Kira wasn't directly responsible, he didn't intend for any civilians to die. His hatred for the Freedom was ridiculous at times.
Imo what ruined the show was Shin Asuka and the pink haired psycho girl I forgot the name. Bad MC makes a bad story

The popularity of Kira came from his introduction in Seed not Seed Destiny for 99 percent of Gundam fans.
Jigoku Shoujo should only have been a movie. The basic premise is good, but as a TV series it just ended up ridiculously repetitive.

I don't think there's an anime movie I want to be made more than THE DISSOCIATION OF HARUHI SUZUMIYA. Well, I know they'd have to do THE INTRIGUES OF HARUHI SUZUMIYA first, but DISSOCIATION would be the more interesting film.
I guess KyoAni waits until the merch sales drops low enough to release more Haruhi and enjoy another boost of popularity.
There will be nerd rage if Aya returns to voice Haruhi and nerd rage if she doesn't.
Haruhi or Lucky Star would be my personal choices for potential KyoAni movies.
Lucky Star wouldn't work In movie format, it would too damn boring, nothing happens in this show. Its okay for 20-30 minute episodes, triple the run time and you'll be asleep before the end.
