Honestly, this series whould've been better if they had stuck with the story, or AT LEAST added a lot more action into this series. The manga was a good read because it actually had some form of story with some amazing action scenes in it. Plus the girls aren't a lot bitchy in the manga. So yea, just stating my opinion is all.
I think they just didn't bother with trying to follow the manga at all and just decided to do something new based on the material. It's almost like a doujin creation or, probably more accurately, like an anime figure or bonus item like posters.
