Honestly, this series whould've been better if they had stuck with the story, or AT LEAST added a lot more action into this series. The manga was a good read because it actually had some form of story with some amazing action scenes in it. Plus the girls aren't a lot bitchy in the manga. So yea, just stating my opinion is all.
I think they just didn't bother with trying to follow the manga at all and just decided to do something new based on the material. It's almost like a doujin creation or, probably more accurately, like an anime figure or bonus item like posters.
Ironic that out of all the episodes this season, it was the final episode to actually deal with the manga story.
This season of Maken-ki and the fans have lost their roots.
Standard modern anime model seems to be S1 full of fanservice, S2 fack the plot let's make soft core porn.
