Tokyo Ghoul Anime Announced

Popular doppleganger horror manga Tokyo Ghoul has unveiled news that it is to receive a deservingly ghoulish anime, likely to be brimming with the gruesome dark visuals the original is known for.
The anime will be be handled by Pierrot, who have also worked on previous legendary titles such as Yu Yu Hakusho and Saiyuki, and is scheduled for its haunting broadcast in July, with AnimeJapan2014 chosen as the debut location for the PV.

I'd rather get an anime of Prison School (Kangoku Gakuen). It'd at least be as big a hit as Highschool of the Dead was. It'd probably be toned down though, which is too bad since it's probably the best ecchi manga ever (where the ecchi actually drives some of the story in creative ways).

Watched this post, read a few pages of the manga, will be waiting intently for the anime version~
Why don't you just continue with the manga? You know anime of manga like this is always inferior.
For the most part, unless they give it Black Lagoon or Attack of Titan-style animation...then it'd be godly.
So the only way an anime character can have gums, teeth, and lips is if they wear a mask with that stuff painted on?
Pierrot? Really? i dont think they have the cojones to make it like the manga, outside of tegami bachi pierrot hasnt done anithing of notice in the last 10 years, and i DARE anyone to bring up Naruto!
