Holographic princess Hatsune Miku has indulged in an unusual collaboration in the form of “Ray” – a combined effort with top J-rock outfit “Bump of Chicken”, famed for their work in Final Fantasy Type 0, One Piece and Tales of the Abyss – once again emphasising the mainstream musical acceptance the world’s foremost virtual diva now enjoys.

Behind the scenes extras:
Fan reaction has been generally positive despite occasional criticism of similar involvement of human singers at Miku events, although they have so far been spared the inevitable spectre of extensive AKB48 involvement…

I thought this was going to be about Hatsune Miku on KFC buckets and windows.
That would have alienated the vegetarian fans
I would love to see that, plus I'd actually have to buy their overpriced as fuck chicken.
BOC are the one singing for Tales of Abyss series. And they're quite popular in Japan
Need to fix the mouth on the 3D Miku Model but otherwise this was excellent!!!!!!
I find it so interesting that most of the comments I seen on youtube were on the tunes of "this video gathered more hits so Bump of Chicken fans should be grateful for the Miku collaboration".
Someone said before a VCL 48, they're getting to that number of vocaloids.
There are actually over 50 Vocs overall.
WOULD BANGG
His voice is excellent in every way... why did they ruin it with Miku?
then go listen to the bump of chicken only ver.
Good to know there is one. Not certain why Miku's voice modulation hasn't at least improved over time.
They used KZ's miku version for this noobs.
It's Kz's work
^Someone hasn't heard Miku Append version^
@ Anon 6:19
I don't know much about Miku besides I love the animations. So no, I haven't a clue what you're talking about or what that means.
It really depends on who's working on the voice.
FYI... As we speak..The Miku collaboration version has already 1,094,000 hits on You Tube. While the non Miku version video has only 954,000 hits.... SUCK MY BAL*S!!
Justin music is good by your logic... stupid bastard ._.
actually, no, he didn't even justify Bieber there. Miku, as a vocaloid, is expected to sound the way she does. Justin doesn't have that going for him. The fact that Bump of Chicken, a well-known mainstream band in Japan has opened up a Vocaloid collaboration means that they don't give a rats ass on HouseLife's or your opinion.
that being said... damn, HouseLife, your avatar made me grin from ear to ear. Now I can't think of Gordon Freeman any other way as Hugh Laurie.
I don't understand what your balls have to do with this. You have literally nothing whatsoever to do with anything.
Meaning that there are 140.000 Miku fans out there, compared to 954.000 Bump of Chicken fans. So what? ;)
The gap are getting higher as we speak. And for your information, the non Miku version started 6 days earlier than the Miku version. When Miku version posted, the non Miku already collects 500,000 hits. But in ONLY 4 DAYS, Miku version surpassed it!! How's that?? (^3^)~*
You would be a great PSY-chologist.
nah, he's dealing it like a GENTLEMAN
The gap is rising as we speak... and FYI, The Non-Miku version started 6 DAYS EARLIER than the Miku version. When the non Miku already got 500,000 hits, Miku version still 138 hits only. But in a mere 4 DAYS, it surpassed the Non Miku version!! SUCK MY BAL*S TWICE!! (^0^)
The Gap is getting farther and farther as we speak.... and FYI The "Non-Miku" Version started 6 DAYS EARLIER than The Miku Collaboration version, and they already got 500,000 hits when the Miku version is still 138 hits, but now... look what happened (^0^) SUCK MY BA*LS TWICE..!!
You got owned.
Tales of Diva01
I thought this article was going to be about Hatsune Miku on KFC buckets and windows.
BUMP OF CHICKEN admits that they have been Miku-ed (^0^)v.

And they are really happy that they took Miku's "Virginity" (^^)
It is the other way around. BOC never collaborated with anyone and they are happy that miku took THEIR virginity
The Miku Collaboration version hits OVER A MILLION in only 4 DAYS after its release!! All hail Miku!!
Drummer better not be wearing Blues....
As a rule?
What have they done to her face, this is not Miku.
It's like the model Livetune has in his MVs, personally I think it looks really cute.
They should have collaborated with SEGA for the 3D module.
Miku failed at duet
Well the name is stupid.. but Hatsune miku makes almost anything good even those dorks there singing with her.. she truely is a Digital Goddess!! =D
These "dorks" were already famous (AND great musicians) when Miku wasn't even a single line of code ...
there just another 3d pig band of idiots nothing special so be mad =D yall dont like what i say too fukkin bad
we dont care what you said, too fukkin bad eh
obviously you did cuz you went out of ur way to respond you stupid fukk head lol! now go take some pills and go to bed
These dorks you speak of are very successful and very famous. The fact that they recognize Vocaloids and have done this collaboration means a lot to bridge artists.
You call Miku a "Digital Goddess" (with capitals to boot), and you're calling them dorks?
Dorks? Please...
Those guys probably get more pussy than everyone who visits this site combined.
... which isn't saying much now that I think about it.
Actually, the name 'bump of chicken' is the result of a mistranslation. Apparently they were going for something like 'Attack/hit of the coward', but ended up with 'bump of chicken'. It kind of makes more sense knowing this but its still a dumb name. At least its...unique?
A delightful "hand soap" case.
Vocalist Fujiwara Motou resembles a guy called Doushu from The Land of Colored Clouds, or Saiunkoku. Try saying that three times fast.
Then there's Kumeta.
you obviously never listened to BoC before. Give it a try and you'll see the name's stupid or not.
You think that name's stupid? Wait till you read the whole list of band names in America
the wont become less stupid no matter how the music sounds...
yeah, like the bands in your country all have saintly names
I want to kill your faggot ass so hard right now.
