Holographic princess Hatsune Miku has indulged in an unusual collaboration in the form of “Ray” – a combined effort with top J-rock outfit “Bump of Chicken”, famed for their work in Final Fantasy Type 0, One Piece and Tales of the Abyss – once again emphasising the mainstream musical acceptance the world’s foremost virtual diva now enjoys.

Fan reaction has been generally positive despite occasional criticism of similar involvement of human singers at Miku events, although they have so far been spared the inevitable spectre of extensive AKB48 involvement…
I find it so interesting that most of the comments I seen on youtube were on the tunes of “this video gathered more hits so Bump of Chicken fans should be grateful for the Miku collaboration”.
