PS4 Sales “Over 6 Million” – Xbox One Sales “3.5 Million”

Sony is boasting of over 6 million PlayStation 4s sold, with the Japanese launch now having made it to 370,000, with 13.7 million games sold, to an estimated total of some 3.5 million for the Xbox One.
The “6 million” figure apparently covers “actual sales” rather than dubious distribution figures, and so already seems to represent a lasting and and unsurpassable lead for Sony in the present generation.
The “games sold” figure also includes download sales, which whilst fair to the coming delivery medium does likely gift them a large number of cheaper titles.
Microsoft has refrained from bombastic sales boasts for reasons which now seem obvious, but is believed to be stuck at around 3.5 million based on previous announcements and extrapolations of indirect sales comparisons made since – raising the spectre of further humiliating headlines in the near future when PS4 sales double those of the Xbox One.

As someone who owns neither consoles and laughs from his mighty pc gaming mountaintop... nope.
All three systems have poor launches and the Wii U of all things has more 1080p/60fps games than both the ps4 and xb1. That will likely continue since the other two have higher specs and it takes more to make them run at 1080/60.
The Killzone fiasco just proves it. Also, that's the second time the Killzone devs lied to everyone. The first being the infamous in-game video for Killzone 3 shown at E3.

You mean the mountaintop where you had to suffer throughout last generation with games dumbed down to match the console versions?
The one where most of the innovative not-dumbed-down games are indie titles, who don't make much use of 1080/60 or any of your hardware anyway, many of them eventually porting to mobile or even onto those inferior consoles?
The one that doesn't see any less disappointments and rocky launches than consoles? To name a few: Diablo 3, Aliens Colonial Marines, X Rebirth, Total War Rome 2, and who could forget Duke Nukem Forever?
The one that has seen many games, particularly MMOs, having to go F2P (P2W) to support themselves?
I'm guessing you're either too young to remember when PCs actually were better, or too old and is running on nostalgia.
Get the facts right. The only NATIVE 1080P games on Wii U are Monster Hunter, Wind Waker and maybe Transformers, and they are not even 60fps. MH unstable 60fps, WW is 30fps unstable. So not a single Wii U game is properly 1080p/60fps.
The only non-1080P PS4 game is Battlefield 4. KZ MP is not 1080p as you said, but SP is (yes, still bad). The majority of the games are 30fps rather than 60fps.
Xbone is even worse than PS4. Don't even need to mention all the shit they spew out.
I play on my superior PC 95% of the time, but unfortunatly i don't want to miss out on some exclusive titles.
Ugh. Personally, I'd prefer 720p 60fps on a TV over a low and inconsistent framerate at a higher resolution. The differences in resolution on a TV across the room aren't as big of a deal as they are on a monitor right in front of your face, but a smooth framerate is essential.

In alot of vn's the sex scenes come at the end of a heroines route, kinda a "reward" for playing her route, at least thats how I look at it. I seen quite a few vn's that had hentai scenes at the end of routes that would have been fine without them. Hoshizora no Memoria to name one. G-senjou no mao, Grisaia no Kaijitsu, all of these would have been fine without h-scenes tbh. They are there for a reward, and well because it sells games, most people love watching some hot/cute anime chick get laid. Most won't admit it but they'd be lying if they said they ain't intersted.

Too soon to be saying that, we're only about 4 months into this generation.
I don't think that it will sell as good as the PS4 in the long run but it will sell good numbers, they have yet to make price cuts and more console seller games will come out for it. If only Titanfall was an XBO exclusive that would be interesting, since I can see Titanfall making this gap much smaller if it wasn't on 360 and PC.
They have already made price cuts and bundled with more modern games.

Yeah right, because retailers would allow someone selling the same games cheaper than them and with the same launch day. Seriously, the one who wrote this piece of news has not bought a new game for at least 15 years...
Most sales may be cheap indie titles only available online, but that does not make games cheaper, just make cheap games.

I can somewhat relate. I'm playing Doom, Doom II and Duke Nukem 3D now for a very, very long time over and over again. It's still fun, but I wouldn't mind to play a new shooter.
I just don't know which. It's a tough decision, because I'll be stuck with it for at least two decades. (Because I won't buy the same crap over and over again. Ha! Me so smart.)

I doubt Titanfall will change this gap that much, its coming on the 360 and PC as well, now if it was only on the XBO I could see Titanfall making this gap much smaller and the XBO reaching 5.5m at least.
As Titanfall is coming for the PC, I am not in the hurry to buy a new XBAWKS.

MS SHIPPED 3.9kk units by the end of 2013...and its still 3.2-5kk actually sold...I would accept as a success if it even sold out these many Xbones that are on wharehouses sitting tight while PS4 come and go as fast as Sony is able to sell them up to retailers....
