The JSDF have unveiled its annual calendar for 2014, bursting with a plethora of extraordinarily attractive military women in hopes of attracting new recruits – though it seems the women in question are of dubious background, being not actual service women but enlisted as idols, models and other roles typical of a calendar girl.

Fortunately it seems the JSDF’s even more otaku-related recrutiing efforts are the ones which bear most fruit these days…
And of course there is always Aya Hirano’s recent stint in the navy.
Instead of that recruitment commercial with the singing & dancing sailors they should have one with singing & dancing idols in uniform instead.
And why does picture #4 remind me of the UN SPACY’s recruitment poster from Macross/Robotech?

What they need is a uber smart tsundere l♥♥i captain and a old grey bearded ex special ops first commander who is also her mentor.
And blatantly say that they might have a chance to go on a dinner date with the captain .. if they perform well..

Show more guns and weapons since that is actually what make me enlist, also i might be strange but i prefer to see military man in action than some bubbly girls in uniform for military calender. Though in barracks we use the normal pin-up girl calendar hahaha
