More of Japan than ever is choking under a thick cloud of China-quality PM2.5 smog this winter, prompting the Japanese government to warn people in affected areas not to venture out lest they die horribly.
Whereas previous warnings tended to be focused on the areas of the extremities of the archipelago with the misfortunate to be closer to the mainland, alarmingly the latest reports show great swathes of the nation exceeding what are considered safe levels of atmospheric pollution.

The NHK is far too polite to mention the source of all this haze, but followed up in a later report with indistinguishable shots of how badly Beijing is still choking…

It’s a good thing actually, heated up the day and melted away that snow once and for all. Bloody 3 weeks and it still hasn’t melted, you have one day of smog and it’s all melted lol.
