Pizza Hut has teamed up with the girls of generic idol anime Love Live! School Idol Project to wrap an entire store and its attendant fleet of mopeds in Love Live livery, its first ever such undertaking.
Although Pizza Hut were running major anime based collaborations long before arch-rival Domino’s (most famously with CC and Cheese-kun), wrapping their mopeds and stores seems to be a direct response to the huge success Domino’s had with their recent Miku campaign.
Pizza lovers have until the 30th of March to get their orders in – although unlike the expansive Miku campaign the event is mainly restricted to the temporarily renamed Kanda branch.
Awesome
Domino’s have Miku.
Pizza Hut have Love Live (and Code Geass, apparently).
Sbarro, your turn.
Haaa… I wish I could have those bikes… of course along with the illustrations…
I like where the world is going to… I’m hoping it’ll be more than this in future.
Seriously, humanity should be perished leaving the 2D world here.
I’m curious, is Pizza Hut in Japan ran by otakus? It seems like a lot of either moe or mecha anime is being sponsored by Pizza Hut over there, not that I don’t mind, really.
In fact, this is making me kind of hungry right now.
