Dragon Ball Kai Restarts

After a 3 year hiatus, the continuation of the HD remastered Dragon Ball Kai has been confirmed and will be premiering with the Majin Buu arc – in perhaps a last ditch effort to squeeze every last drop remaining of the once renowned franchise, whose prestige has perhaps suffered somewhat in recent years.
The announcement comes by way of the latest V Jump, which confirms it will commence airing on April 6th this year.

The new episodes have already been confirmed for an English dub, likely to reignite the magic of the series in the hearts of those who first witnessed it in that form – though hopefully the remastered version will resume in absence of any egregious errors.

Yeah they really should have done a full on Dragon Ball Z remake, by this I mean just adapt the manga again but bring it into the 21st century. You could probably do everything in under 50 episodes. So much time was wasted with powering up and pointless face/scenery panning shots.
I'm surprised they didn't go the FMA route and do this, given the immense popularity. I guess they felt they wouldn't be able to get away with some things that they could in the past, like the violence and blood (just look at what a piece of power rangers shit Saint Seiya Omega turned out to be compared to the original)

That's a load of shit. The original anime is full of filler. Kai is closer to the manga

Yes, DBZ filler is horrible, no one deserves a break from a repetitive story, (arrives at the battle late, beats up the 1st guy, appear weak vs the 2nd, powers up, beats the 2nd guy, they become friends later)
Then Koei gave Toriyama the middle finger and made Dragon Ball GT. I still to this day wonder who at Koei Toriyama pissed off enough to warrant his creation being raped to that degree. SSJ4 Vegeta via a machine? Fuck that, that's out of character for Vegeta, he worked himself to death for his power, the real Vegeta would of blew that machine to hell.

Dragon Ball Z abridged anyone? It's a parody alright but it's done so well tongue-in-cheek, I can't even imagine better fitting voice actors for characters than those chaps at TFS.

Great, I heard kai isn't as good as the original but not surprising as most things aren't as good as their original works. Maybe I'll check it out though.
WTf? kai IS the original, same POS with a little bit less S, im sure someone can make a proper REMAKE in just 52 episodes with all 3 major fights

i've been a fan along time ago and seen many episodes that's been subbed and dubbed by many languages just like original Sailor Moon to females.If you've seen its original form,you can see body parts flying in most brutal way and naked Bulma.
