Somewhat popular SF manga Terra Formars is finally getting its anime adaptation, in the form of both an OVA and a full TV anime.
The announcement emerges circuitously by way of an obi shot included in a cover preview, meaning details (in particular the vexed question of who will be animating it) will be some time in coming:

The design is actually based on homo erectus, an early human evolutionary species. It's african origins and subsequent resemblance to modern africans is a connection many will unfortunately miss. Making the design unjustly accused of being racist :(.

Unlikely. I enjoy both the SnK manga and anime, what I read of this manga was spectacularly awful, boring, racist, and stupid.
Basically, the human characters are all Spiderman ripoffs (using different insects) who get slaughtered by the n*gger cockroaches.
I expect the SAME staff that animated SnK to animate this. Shit belongs with shit, after all.
