Mahjong is a serious business
During the first season you had people learning to play left and right. I remember passing through a rizon circlejerk that was happy to offer up a couple tutorials when I mentioned possible interest.
But then I was like "Eh, too much work." for what was surely just a fad.
You mean the "How to be a lesbian" mahjong tutorial? That was good.
The only things stopping me from really learning it is that I'm having trouble finding a mahjong set that is not either chinese plastic or super-expensive.

I know saki has to follow the script but man has the nationals been poorly executed. Achiga was way better. The op/ed are terrible and the scenes leading upto the 1st match was so drawn out. Its picking up steam but i expected better in the audio dpt.
Ofc it's drawn out or else they'd run out of source material too quickly. Blame Ritz for delivering weekly content on a monthly basis.

Saki is not a harem anime with wimpy male like To Love Ru or dense male like Infinite Stratos.
Saki is more leaning towards shows like Girl and Panzer,K-On and Yuru Yuri.Just add in mahjong tournament in it instead of tank or music.
