Square Enix’s latest effort to milk poor Lightning sees them cover her in a layer of filth and wounds for a spot of macho post-reboot Lara Croft DLC cosplay in Lightning Returns – much to the despair of Lightning fans, most of whom seem to think she has been dragged through the muck quite enough already…

Voice actors get paid extra for performances released outside Japan. And depending on who is in the cast, it can actually be cheaper to dub the entire thing than pay the original cast for their performance. Welcome to cost cutting 101.
supposedly, theres a download coming out after realease to include JP audio in the NA/EU version.

I'm unsure though if I would pay money for that. FF13-1 should have included dual audio in the PS3 version from the beginning. And it didn't. Lame, Squenix, lame.

Rather play as a Lightning skin in Tomb Raider than other way around.
I can't stop laughing off about this game, Q-E effectively destroyed the Final Fantasy XIII world and characters. The very way this game is designed is simply the silliest thing S-E did using Final Fantasy brand name since Chocobo Dungeons and Dissidia.
Way to go, making so much effort at crushing your favorite (so far) characters.

...Dissidia did well and Square knew it would do well, because they already tested the waters with Tobal. Not that I'd expect some 00s kid to even know of that title.
Tobal's dungeon mode was fun, fighting system was shitty as hell.
Dissidia did well because you could get over 20 hours of fun before getting tired of leveling and unlockings. It was not the best game ever, but it was actually fun before getting repetitive.
Best fighting system Square ever did was Ehrgheiz(sp)
I personally liked The Bouncer but it was a watered down version of Ehrgheiz, still got the disc tho to this day XD

I really disliked that debate of "don't have to buy it". First thing every costumes they announce is already in the game complete finish but hey all video games company are just lazy and greedy to support the game in the right danm way.
Would of been cool if SE or any game company add more stuff too their older game like COD4, skyrim, star ocean 4, street fighter 3 and ect.
Call me when they release the "Complete" version of the game.

Poor Lara, really i see in a forum many costumes of FF13 in other females chars of FF, and is true, only in Lightning or clothes look totally ugly, for example in Lulu the cat look sexy, the lara clothes in Riku make her more badass, so is not fault of the clothes, is only to Lightning look to a Men who have a bad change sex operation.

I just adore 8 and explaining the story the best I know to people who don't like it.
VIII was ahead of it's time. That's the one title actually WORTHY of a remake, because it would better fit the mood of today's gamers. Back they all it did was catch crap for being too mature, in a world where everyone rode big bird and wizards were faceless dudes in blue robes.
VI is easily the best
then IX
VII is way overrated and VIII is cool but a lot of the casting system is broken.

It's already guaranteed FF15 will be worse, as FF15 is blunt a knockoff of The Last Story. And populated by more visual kei rejects.
