Monogatari Second Season’s vampire apocalypse arc Kabukimonogatari finally comes to a close on Blu-ray, packaged and shafted to the studio’s indeterminable standards of perfection – which means another excruciatingly thorough comparison for fans to determine if its changes merit a re-watch.

Shaft being Shaft, so it's hard to tell what version is TV and what BD. Seriously SHAFT, get your shit together and stop changing for the sake of changes, and actually fix what you really should be fixing.
In other words: they fix what they fucked up & they fuck up was don't need fixing. SHAFT in a nutshell.
So which one is the version that was "enhanced"?
23 looks reversed.
Shaft didn't make Shinobu(big) look like a festering corpse in the BD either 'eh?
Thank god I'm not the only one confused about which side is "best"...
The blu-ray shots all look more detailed, more attention spent on proper shading, redrawn/recolored for effect/character/proper perspective, greater attention to continuity,... just better. Seems like an immense effort considering the broadcast shots are decent to good in quality already, but kudos to Shaft for caring that much.
This is the exact reason I wait until bluray rips from coalgirls and wait a whole year after most video games come out. I want to make sure everything is at its best the first time I watch/play it.
Adult form of Hachikuji's outfit was so obviously changed to lara croft color outfit in the blu-ray.
They changed quite a bit didn't they.
OUCH... MY.... EYES..........
grown up hachikuji makes me hard :o
Both lolis look way better in their nee-san form in the BDs... Not that any of you damn lolicon would be able to apreciate it...
Hachikuji with boobs
As a lolicon i have to say something.

Is it just me or does the Majority of these picks look worse in Blu-ray than it does in the TV Version?
I think so too.
just...i wanna see shinobu smiling in BD quality xD worth every Cent to me <3
