Top Japanese pro-wrestling outfit DDT is tag-teaming with bishoujo wrestling card game Ring Dream to deliver – of all things – officially sanctioned moe versions of some of its top bruisers.
The first round of the action sees them release moe editions of Sanshiro Takagi, Michael Nakazawa and Antonio Honda, with more to follow over the next year:

I know I'm in for a lot of hate and downvotes, but I never see the point to why moefication is so rampant.
You like girls in wrestling outfit? Fine. You like mecha musume? Fine. You like kemonomimi? Fine. You like girls in gladiator armor? Fine. You like girls in Nazi soldier uniforms? Fine. I'm okay with that, I see nothing wrong with it, but why do you have to put in the contexts that these girls are a genderswapped, moefied version of things that are not 'girls'?
When I see people like Hitler got moefied and see you people drool over her and claim how you want to 'Blitzkrieg' on her, I just don't understand why the context that 'this girl is Hitler' is important if in the end all you're going to care is how the girl's appearance pleases your penis. I am simply baffled to why anyone would find the thought that 'this character represents Hitler' to be an arousing factor.
Why can't you just settle with 'this girl is a dictator ruler of a fictional fascist country'? Especially if at the end of the day, you're not gonna care about anything else apart from her appearance.
It's different from naming your summoned monsters after mythological figures, moefication reduces that original figure into an object that is justified for you to fap to. It is insulting to the original material, think how Lovecraft would react to see his work of horror now turned into a national fap material.
