Rusty hunters may want to sharpen their skills, as an announcement declaring the release of “Monster Hunter 4G” for the Nintendo 3DS has just been unveiled, being slated for purchase in Japan come fall – and the game will also be compatible with save data from the original Monster Hunter 4 – making for the most important gaming announcement of 2014 as far as most Japanese are concerned, the PS4 barely making a ripple these days.
The debut trailer:
An hour long Monster Hunter 10th anniversary opening movie and amassment of trailers:
Alongside this announcement, there was also another important revelation concerning Monster Hunter’s western release by way of “Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate” (the North American and European equivalent to Monster Hunter 4G) being announced for release in early 2015.
Please Freaking make a Wii U version too Monster Hunter 3 ultimate is best played on Wii U
honestly hope this game is better than the last one. I couldn’t stand the combat in that. They really need to give the player the ability to have different combat styles.
Example: instead of horizontal, or vertical slashes large heavy sword have, give them more most like, upper cuts, Cleaves and bashing with the blade for small to Medium creatures to give yourself more room to swing.
since the games are all about exploring, quests, scavenging and combat. and combat being what is used the most. I think they should give most detail to it.
I dropped 3 on the 3ds because the combat only allowed you to use the weapons in simplistic ways.
Good for Nintendo, they will need it to compensate for the crappy wii U sales.
hopefully there’s a special edition 3DS to bundle with this game
3DS sales are gonna double, at the minimum, from last year. Sony really dropped the ball when they let Monster Hunter slip through its fingers.
After this, people are going to be asking “What’s a Vita?”
When Atlus eventually put Persona 5 on the Vita, people are going to be asking. Whats a monster hunter?
Wasn’t “Soul Sacrifice” supposed to get people away from Monster Hunter?
Are you implying that Persona is comparable to MH in Japan?
…are you retarded? Serious question.
We’re not in Japan. Persona is more popular outside of Japan.
Persona 5 is for the Ps3, Vita will get the Dancing game…
As if Persona could dream of moving the amount of units that Monster Hunter does. Hahaha.
Yeah it will never move as many units as a Monster Hunter game does.
I can’t tell if you’re joking. Persona 5 is chibi nonsense.
