Monster Hunter 4G Announced For 3DS

Rusty hunters may want to sharpen their skills, as an announcement declaring the release of “Monster Hunter 4G” for the Nintendo 3DS has just been unveiled, being slated for purchase in Japan come fall – and the game will also be compatible with save data from the original Monster Hunter 4 – making for the most important gaming announcement of 2014 as far as most Japanese are concerned, the PS4 barely making a ripple these days.

I still haven't played anything after Unite because I don't wanna use that Nintendo Eyeball Destroyer, that and I can't afford it, shit, I'd only even have it for Pokemon, MH, and Custom Robo (if that's even on there).
Eyeball destroyer? It all depends on how good your eyes are. Most people can play with the 3D on without issue, some find it difficult. That being said you can play with the 3D off just fine, its like a portable Wii graphically without the 3d.
I didn't realize how horrible the Wii graphics are until now.
You can completely disable the 3D effect. Also, disabling it in-game will actually make the game run smoother in 3U.

honestly hope this game is better than the last one. I couldn't stand the combat in that. They really need to give the player the ability to have different combat styles.
Example: instead of horizontal, or vertical slashes large heavy sword have, give them more most like, upper cuts, Cleaves and bashing with the blade for small to Medium creatures to give yourself more room to swing.
since the games are all about exploring, quests, scavenging and combat. and combat being what is used the most. I think they should give most detail to it.
I dropped 3 on the 3ds because the combat only allowed you to use the weapons in simplistic ways.

Look at the 3DS. It lads and studers on Pokemon. Freaking pome on battle effects lag the POS hardware.
I can't imagine how bad this will chop up when a person needs to dodge a monster charge of some other attack.
Oh well. I expect a severally reduced number of monsters on screen or in a field at a time. That or that may make the individual rendered fields soo small you will feel claustrophobic against a zone lock in the center of an open field.

This isn't how electronics work, sorry. Shrinking things down is going to cost you somehow, either in performance or in dollars.

Because Vita is already DEAD. Vita is this generation's Sega Dreamcast. 3DS is outselling it 20 to 3. Nearly 43million units vs 7million units, 126million software sales vs 20million software sales, 15million Japanese unit sales vs 2.5million Japanese unit sales.
3DS has literally curb stomped Vita because Nintendo does handheld better than anyone. And most of the titles Japanese developers are making for Vita are crappy ports, like Marvel vs Capcom.
The Vita isn't dead in Japan, its getting endless anime titles(Includes visual novels too).
Don't kid yourself, anime, SRPG & VN titles don't sell systems.
And Visual Novel ports, not that I hate them but in my mind VN = PC
