The New Japanese Man: “55.8% Have Never Even Dated”

Figures for the latest generation of Japanese to reach adulthood show them turning more herbivorous than ever, with 55.8% of 20-year-old men now apparently having no romantic experience whatsoever.
A coming-of-age day survey of young Japanese having just turned 20 found them lonelier than even before – some 80% of the men and 70% of the women had no partner.
The same survey taken in the year 2000 found approximately 50% of those asked had a partner, prompting much gleeful media speculation about the emasculated herbivorousness of the latest crop of degenerate youths, who may well “have problems communicating with the opposite sex,” as a result of all their time spent online or them refusing to buy cars or watch TV, perhaps.
Of those wretched young men with no partner, a mere 63.8% reported actually wanting one, the lowest figure since 2000 as well.
55.8% of men and 39% of women reported having had “not even one” partner, and 23% of men and 14.8% of women reported never having so much as an unrequited romantic interest.
As usual, harem masters may have been hogging all the action – 22.6% reported having had over 5 partners (whether in series or in parallel is mercifully not specified).
Most were unsurprisingly in no huge hurry to get married even if they could afford a partner – over 90% thought “under 30” was an ideal time to get married, although women favoured 30-year-old men and men 25-year-old women.
Precocious wisdom or deviant herbivorousness was displayed by 19.6% of men who did not want to get married at all, and 20.5% of women, figures in line with recent years.

well i dated few times and every time it was something unforgetable - in a bad way. Yeah, pretty much every guy I know has had terrible experiences with women: they constantly lie, steal money, destroy and steal personal property, make their male partner do their college/job work while they go out to party, and then dump their partner when he's outlived his usefulness.
It's not just where I live, either. I've met lots of guys around the world who have had the exact same experiences. Even guys I don't personally know are clearly being used and discarded as such.
That's not to say all women are like that. The problem is that they can do that and society lets them get away with it.
This is why society tends to lean heavily towards one gender or the other. When we try to make things fair and equal, everyone just abuses their privileges. Humans are selfish greedy shits.

I believe it can work, just we need to return to the root where male go out to work and female to take care of the home, the kids and keep socializing within the neighborhood.
This system will offload female from heavy burden of work, and will make them more relax, and I believe the working pressure is the main reason why many female nowadays is under depression, and easily get moody. Moody woman, as we all know, can easily snapped, in which will lead into fight, frequent fights lead into sour relationship, and this eventually end with a divorce.
It also create a strong reason for a female to get a mate, since without male there is no income. Love alone is not enough for two people to share their live, and love itself diminish over time. A provider mate will cement the bond better, since its down to needs, and not wants. Guy do the job, while the gal keep the house, the family and social network intact. A perfect labor division, without too many burden for the female.
The old system is protecting the female, unlike the feminism false claims, and it benefiting the male as well, since a good mood, smiling spouse will brightening the relationship,and since guys have better emotion control, is less likely to snap over nothing. Guys will also get more regular sex since the ladies will be in better mood all round.

Then why Japanese that hold the old tradition, never date?.. you say. it because Japanese lacks something called communication skill, in which make the kids fell distant from their parents, spouses to feel unwanted and some is cheating afterwards. Also create barrier for a couple from truly sharing with each other. And for the newcomer, it become harder to be closer with female..
I also find Japanese to be very emotional, and this is really hurting the sharing and receiving process since a wrong approach in communication can lead into a big spar. There is also issue with living cost..
In short, keep the tradition. All the newer approach simply do not work since the root of the problem never been treated properly.
If you and everybody simply step out from any in touch with female, don't forget they still can chase you and able to make you miserable afterward, since 50% of the population, is in fact female. Your coworker, teacher, neighbor and so on can be female. You still interact with female all the time. And they do can get cranky, and you don't want that if you are going to be working/socializing with them.
