  That’s pretty ironic to say. I’d wager that Umineko is a lot more well-known than Mondaiji, but seems to still fall well within being niche anime shit that some casual who only watches whatever’s on Cartoon Network isn’t likely to have heard about.

  Why do people keep talking about “Wii U-level”, like it’s the biggest blemish on Nintendo’s record. This isn’t the Virtual Boy, not even close. For that matter, I’m sick of people who talk about the Game Cube as if it was this massive failure, when it actually sold pretty decently (and had a great library of games) and most of its “failure” is from being compared to the PS2’s sales figures.   Oh, nice. Whatever this ends up being, it sounds to me like they’ve still got Yuki Kajiura signed on for it. One thing that worries me about the continuation of this franchise is that, at some point, she might get ditched, much like with .hack and Mai Hime/Otome (seriously Sunrise, S.ifr was just three OVAs and you couldn’t have her stick around?). In fact, they already didn’t involve her for the PSP game, but I was glad to see her continued presence in the film series.
