Oh that is rich! Your talk about tougher safety standards, as an excuse to justify commercial whaling absolutely stupid. Whale & dolphin meat is contaminated with mercury, you idiot! What, you think hoof & mouth disease comes with every beef patty served?! Every slice of whale meat you consume contains trace amounts of mercury and if you’re eating it raw, possibly flesh eating worms too. Like the ones that have literally eaten the brains of many Japanese from the inside.

And Japan has plenty of untapped landmass. The problem is that it’s all mountainous terrain, which would need to terraformed.

But that’s not the real problem. The real problem is that Japanese are like Americans; spoiled & lazy. They don’t want to work a hard day’s labor for next to nothing and they do not want to pay for increased labor costs on the consumer side either.

As a result, Japan brings in Chinese & other Asian races into Japan, for underpaid field laborer positions. And farmland owners that do not eventually sell off their land or go out of business.
