Anon above, it has nothing to do with America. People that try to politicalize simple fact are morons. We all know Dolphins are endangered and we all know that if the Japanese keep hunting them, they will extinct for sure. The Japanese themselves know it and it is just they cannot stop doing for whatever the reason they have. It has nothing to do with politics. We are not tree hugging hipsters and we all know that the food chain web is shrinking. People in more developed countries (usually with internet access, yes I am talking about us) are less likely to be impacted for now. There are people that depends on hunting or fishing to survive in some developing or under developed countries know the impact very well. Remember, the earth is a close system like a freaking giant space ship.
