Bringing intelligence into it sadly weakens your argument. Intelligence has nothing to do with it. You can draw an arbitrary line wherever you like, but the real problems are the others that you mentioned. Morals have no place in this debate. If they did then humans would never eat anything because you could draw a line anywhere you like. The better argument would be to equate it to murder of a person, but then you have to establish personhood, not simple intelligence.
