Finally: TERA Gets Goth Loli & Pantsu

Top moe MMORPG Tera is still going strong and finally receiving what looks to be a dedicated goth loli class in the form of the “Soul Reaper” – replete with drills, headwings and various other essentials – as well as “wamono” Japanese outfits and – perhaps most importantly of all given the game’s discerning clientèle – an “underwear” slot.
Soul reaper-chan’s trailer and related announcements:
For Japan at least, “ninja avatars,” Soul Reapers and pantsu are due in January, February and March respectively.
A variety of additional instanced dungeons and raids are also incoming to provide more venues for admiring the game’s fine costumes.
To address the fact Japanese players were apparently too busy ogling the Elin to bother killing one another (or perhaps that their numbers are dwindling precipitously), all Japanese servers are being merged into one PvE-only server, although other regions seem to be spared this.
No word on what DLC wonders are planned for the introduction of the pantsu slot has yet surfaced, but certain additions seem inevitable given what is already available…

Same here. Got the uncensor mods for my fem!Elf and Elin characters, but grew tired of it. This new stuff might help out and get the game get going once again.
The most fun here is when they say "NEW CLASS" lol...they give only the weapons of Kratos to a Elin and say New my gosh..
No one said the class was restricted by race. Every race can be this new class as far as I know..

It's a chain sickle, not chained swords, and it's actually a traditional japanese weapon created sometime in the 1300s.
Though I do have to admit they might have gotten the dual wielding from GoW. Chain sickles are a sickle on one end and a weight on the other, so it's a slashing, piercing, and bashing short-medium-ranged weapon.
It's confirmed as race specific. Apparently with BHS' team it takes around 8 months do create race specific animations per class. So they claim anyway - given that only Elins get unique costumes while other races get copy pasted, wouldn't surprise me if they just didn't feel like developing the class for other races.
Oh, but don't get me wrong. It's another Elin to add to my collection of 8 60's. xD
It's an Elin only class. Apparently the devs don't have the man power to produce the class for other races.
Because elin is most popular class, because tera was SUPPOSE to be a sensual game until the americunts and moralfags got ahold of it and whinned the game down to almost nothing in the west. West-side the game stinks. I hate En-Masse and Frogster and wish the game was never release upon the ugly shores of hypocrites.
Tera needs updated and it needed it badly. As an original vet of this game that's been playing Tera since Korean Beta can't say disappointment the turn the game took. Majority of the fault is crappy western influence and fears holding the title down. In America and EU they've turned this 18+ game into a "kid-friendly" piece of shit.

How about the ability to run and attack at the same time?
I found the grounded combat of tera really gave the moves some weight, making the actual experience feel good. Similar to how monster hunter is fun because you learn to time your attacks, positioning and movement, instead of just running around mashing your attack buttons in a certain order like the recent ncsoft games (guild wars 2/blade n soul). The ncsoft formula is the combat style you refer I assume? It has its merits but it kind of takes away from the weight and feel of your characters attacks when it doesnt matter if they are running around in every direction while swinging large weapons.
The problems with the game lie more in the repetitive questing lvel formula and boring equipment gring at end game. :<

Agreed with the above plus they would have to rework all the animations otherwise your character would look retarded when swinging a sword in one direction while running completely the opposite direction.

I wonder if this is good enough reason to even go back to Tera...I guess I could go back and max the only class I don't have at max but what is the point.
Yuck. Not a fan of this style character. Hands way to big. Hips way to big. Weird expressions on their faces. Not sure how the game is, but it would be hard for me to play if I had to control a character that looked like that.
Game is pretty cool and it is not just Elin. You can even play males, if you are into that kind of thing.

Few problems with this game... (1) LOTS of PEDOPHILES play the elin race! this game is the 4CHAN of the MMORPG world (2) This game lags pretty bad even on a decent PC it cant handle more then 80 players in one area it starts to give you skill lag and auto attack issues (3) PvP is NOT balanced at all but most MMO's cant do that anyway =P so aside from all that its not a bad game.. i mean its Free to Play so there you go!

Why is there even an article on this? Tera Online lost all kinds of relevance after whatever company brought it to the west censored the hell out of elin's armor.
It was En-Masse and Frogster that did it, in additional to the stupidity of moralwatchdogs from "gamers" themselves who've never seen a penis before in their retarded lives in all their hypocrisy. After havin a shoutin match with En-Masse I dumped the western version of the game and got the authentic japanese one.
I hate how the west takes games like this and selectively censor. The GAME companies are doing this and it's killing the freedom of artwork over-all. En-Masse did it cus they were afraid of getting 'sued' by the american public and their own religion shoved into the game. Honestly i've seen other games released in NA with the same thing. En-Masse's excuse was that it wouldn't "sell enough". Go figure, so they wrecked the game for mainstream bums and tried to turn it into a WoW number sucess. All what was done was scrubs invited from WoW with their hate towards japanese or korean art culture .
