Soaring mecha action reaches an all time high with Infinite Stratos 2’s final episode, with plenty of sultry onsen bathing as a celebratory aftermath – though even more alluring service (possibly even not obscured by steam) and intense mecha action are likely to arrive come 2014, with the recent announcement of an OVA slated for next year presumably a major second season flag as well.

Really the second season be bored alot compare to the firts, the only good scene of action be the "Udonge" beaten the 3 bastards, the rest of the series be absolutly bored.
This season was horrible, good thing it's over. Not that the first one was a masterpiece but at least it was watchable...
Watchable is giving last season a lot of credit, but it was a masterpiece compared to this garbage.
It was another spin off of love simulator (where the protagonist never sees the full route)
Unfortunately with new girls the fan service was weaker ... (quantity x quality)
Had funny parts, but it was another anime that ended with no explanation of the story ..Again!!
A shame, as Japanese animes increasingly becomes fast food to please the casual audience ..
Not enough action, but if they were going to go the service route they should have just called it "Infinite Char". They can keep Cecilia as well I guess
The good bits of the season could be condensed in 2 maybe 3 episodes.The rest were pure harem/fanservice.
If the trend continues, season 3 (if any) will be fanservice all the way -_-;

Not only that, but Ichika will not even attempt to make a move on any of the women who want him. Obviously he's either gay all along, or he's simply that dim.

I've only watched the first season and I thought Ichika was gay... he didn't react to girls at all, then fellow male Charles enters... Ichika is happy, grabs Charles hands and drags him around, he's even eager to take a bath together and scrub each other. (one can be glad about not being the only male, but he was just too happy)
Haven't seen the show yet, but that definitely sounds gay.

Talking about posting about it late... Anyway, it was the last of the second season? It wasn't a really good season... and with such a cliffhanger they won't leave it at season 2... (M&Phantom Task)

2nd season just pure fanservice
Nope, just around 80%. The novels are already 50-60% fanservice, the rest is those fillers added not to catch up with the lastest published novel...
Sad, cause S1, like it or not, had no real fillers, everything was canon.
Whoever wrote the article needs to learn how to count. If they are making another series after this, it would be a third season, not a second season.
Like I said, IS is garbage. No story at all, fanservice is lacking, male protagonist is a dense motherfucker, art work was so-so quality...there is just too much wrong with this series that it can go by the wayside. I found Yousuga no Sora more entertaining than this.
