I like how the lances break into shards as opposed to a realer looking wooden one with impact and snapping.
makes me wanna take up jousting. too bad owning and caring for a horse is like another mortgage.
i'm not watching it nor know the norms of this anime, but making more than one thrust on a single target during a charge or soaking the impact of a (fragile jousting) lance without shield doesn't seem real either :)
Tell that to Girlz und Panzer. If they played it real, it'd have been boring as hell.

Lances used for modern, non-violent jousting are made to shatter rather than snap with a rigid piece breaking off, as far as I know.
what kind of material would it be? only material i can think of that shatter and be cheaply produced en mass is resin.
watch full metal jousting. it's brutal and there is no way you can do more than one thrust per pass. watch and get educated

Why can't they keep anime character bodies like that more, even when ACTUALLY nude in naked scenes. This is a form of uncensored nudity, your just not seeing detail, that all. No-nipples or genitalia, just a clean blank body anatomy.
Some people, like me, don't like it, dunno if majority does though.
It's censoring so it sucks, that's it. If they wanna show something just do it instead of half showing it.

You both cant understand...this is used to show body movement...when tha scene has sexual meaning they draw niples like on bath scenes...thats why you dont see detail on magical girl transformation scenes...these scenes are made for you to concentrate on the movement of the body and not on sexuality.

The only thing I like about that is that it's as ecchi as some shows can get, as close to nudity as they can get, without having to become shows that can only be aired late at night or not at all... so as a little kid I'd have been able to witness deliciousness as this, and hopefully some other little guys today are lucky enough to see it too. It totally kicks the sailor moon transformations out of the water, that's for sure (and that's as much as I got as a kid).
But preferring doll anatomy over more human-like anatomy... hey, if that's how some people get their rocks off, fine by me, but I can't deny that it creeps me out.

Even though it's clothed, those huge boobs are deliciously hot and the bikinis so tight and small it leaves as little to the imagination as possible without pushing the show into a higher rating and without being seen as censorship.
