A porn star elementary school music teacher has been arrested for appearing in uncensored adult videos, being outed after a complaint against her producers from another porn star angry at not being told she was appearing without the protection of a mosaic.
The 27-year-old woman taught music at an elementary school in Tokyo’s Setagaya city, and boasted a prestigious education and various TV and radio appearances as soprano singer with an opera troupe.
Under the name “Shizuru Junno” she worked as a “legitimate” AV performer, appearing in a variety of pornographic movies, but it was her work under the names “Reiko Magi” that police took an interest in.
These were the names the “white-skinned and volumey housewife” appeared under in a variety of depraved unmosaiced movies and Internet streams, prompting police to arrest her on charges of abetting the distribution of obscene electronic communications.
Her antics only came to light after a young AV performer complained to police about the producers of a movie that she had appeared in only to find out later that it was streamed online in uncensored form.
Police immediately launched an investigation into this most heinous of crimes, and managed to dig out a consent form the teacher had signed in a cafe which included the phrase “to be streamed online uncensored,” indicating her complicity in the wicked deed.
AV industry sources say that as a minor amateur performer barely credited by name she could expect a mere 30,000-50,000 yen per movie, as compared to several million yen for a top AV harlot – “she got pocket money for these kind of appearances, the same amount as the male performers.”
Her school reports she was a model teacher, and the local education authorities say that “normally the police would contact us in advance about something like this, but this time we learned about it in the media reports and were totally surprised” – perhaps leaving open the question of just how many times it happened before “this time.”
Local education authorities refuse to make any official comment or reveal what they plan to do with her other than “take firm measures.”
As to her motivation, a teacher reports that “as a contract teacher she would be lucky to get 200,000 a month, so the money or stress may have been a factor,” whilst a police source remarks that “she probably just wanted it or the cash.

I don't think America ever censored porn even when it was in the underground as "STAG" films it was uncensored. So I don't see what the US had to do with anything.
After war they adopted US puritan laws. By these laws porn is illegal. So Japan adopted a very specific definition of porn in which it is only porn if genitals are visible. This way they can fill an girl anus with eels and technically it isn't porn, therefore legal under the puritan laws.

It was not written into their constitution as some people scream all the time by the US occupation forces at the end of World War II. They predate the US occupation by about 70-ish years in the Publication Ordinance of 1869.

We're talking about japanese constitution vs. japanese penal code. Mosaics/blurs/etc. are the effect of article 175 of JPC which was created in 1907 (and partially the reason of that were victorian influences - so if anyone external is to blame - it's GB).
In typical japanese fashion 175 is a vaguely worded two-liner that can be used as anyone sees fit. /It is/ in opposition to constituion (article 21), but these days consitutions (japanese or any other one) are just glorified pieces of toilet paper no one cares about (starting with governments, especially US one).
All in all, over a century after the "law"'s introduction, and good 50 years after it was first used in obscenity trial - the ONLY people to blame are japanese themselves.
