    You know there's not going to be a payoff. These shows never have a payoff anymore. I think Love Hina might have been the last one, and we had to wait for the OVAs to get it.

    That's why i stick to recent P.A. Works shows.

    They got the animation to rival that of KyoAni (IMO of course) and are making their name known for giving actual conclusions to their shows.

    Yeah so they don't delve into the harem types of shows because no one has the balls to make the main character settle with one girl when the object of the game is to 'catch em all' or to leave it up to the viewer on whom he ends up with. Reason #1 why I loved Shuffle!, and whoever animated/directed that show; the director had the balls to make the main choose the 'most logical girl' in the entire cast. English dub wasn't too bad either, and now at that S.A.V.E. box set deal for 20 bucks at any high profile DVD/electronics store makes it a must buy for any fans of the harem 'genre.'

    That last show that dealt with this type of similar scenario; the one with the dude working at "Mc Ronalds" or whatever, had the anime fail to deliver us the ending we knew we weren't gonna get. However it's obvious and painfully at that, more recent shows are mainly tie-ins for their manga/LN counterparts just to attract more attention and garner more sales for the aformetnioned, which to me is a sad state of affairs. It's as if the era of "beginning, middle, and end" types of anime are long and gone or few and far between.

    Once, JUST ONCE, I want to see a show where the girls force the main guy to choose one of them and when he doesn't or tries to weasel out of it, they all strip and jump him.

    Unless Fino absolutely flips shit if/when she finds out Raul was one of the hero wanna-be's competing to kill her dad. Oh, but even then, they'll resolve it in the last two minutes of the last episode and leave it open for a second season which will never be made. Then we'll get an OAV bundled with the BD's which will be cheap beach/hot springs fanservice instead of story. Want the real ending? Read the manga/light novel, play the game, or whatever this show is based on.
