The release date of Persona 5 has finally been announced – but the news that it is due winter 2014 for the PS3 only has not been taken very well by long-suffering fans.

Also, and rather more unexpectedly, the Vita is to received an apparent Project Diva inspired dancing game in the form of P4 Dancing All Night.
Other new announcements include Persona Q for the 3DS, a crossover RPG featuring both P3 and P4 characters, a Megami Tensei x Fire Emblem crossover for the WiiU, and Persona fighting game “complete edition” for the PS3.
The fact that only now is Sega/Atlus even announcing a new Persona RPG title for the PS3, for release long after the PS4, is being subject to intense ridicule from Persona fans, the patience of whom has long since worn thin:

“No Xbox version – despite this franchise being super-popular overseas?”
“Come on Sony, bribe them to do it for the PS4.”

really lol at those PS4 owners rage about games not coming out for ps4. i thought they had learn something now seeing how long it took ps3 to get stabilized.
Didn’t Persona 4 come out after the PS3 launched also? By at least a year, if I’m not mistaken. No Megaten fan should be upset by the news that we don’t have to buy a new system for this game, and it’s better that they’ve at least had time to work with the hardware and get to know it a little bit.
I’m quite happy Persona 5 will be on PS4. I won’t have to buy a new console for a beloved series ^-^
