Every time you post one of these celebration galleries, I have a thought that Japan should build some kind of otaku reservation or heritage park, as these poor fellows are as exotic as mountain gorillas or axolotls. They may be not as scarce, yes, but they sure won't have offspring any time soon. It clearly means they are endangered.
They could become huge tourism attraction and an improvement in the stale economy.
