It's a very common habit that artists have on a subconscious level. Perhaps leftys might drew peoples faces looking to the left.

if my insight is correct, it's because i'm not a leftie, so i start from left to right. and you usually start by the face features, not the hair
Load the pics into, Gimp or something and see for yourself.
for me,because it's easier to draw. relaxing, don;t even have to think for it.
So you encounter the person's face before encountering the back of their head when looking at a picture--reading from left to right.

I'd say "not bad" singer instead of great, but whatever... Shokotan is basically one "minor famous character", cheap enough to be worth including in your works because the raise in sales due to her fans, not not big enough to sell something by herself. So she's been a model, actress, voice actress, singer, TV & radio celeb, etc... Not specially bad at anything but not great at anything either.
