And why does kantai Collection need to have a story ? It does not have a story board at the beginning, why bother to add one ? Why not just focus on cute girls doing cute things why chewing on resources and drive the admiral mad ?

I miss the days of (even more) hilariously bad anime title localisations, terrible animation, equally bad sound design, and dubs that caused the ears of 8/10 adults to bleed profusely upon exposure, or if you were lucky, Hong Kong subs that knew less English than they did Japanese. Anime was good back then.
