Dengeki Bunko Fighting Climax is receiving yet more exposure in the form of its first location test at arcades.
The gaming press was on hand at the recent Sega arcade location tests, to see the full Dengeki bishoujo lineup revealed in the form of Mikoto, Kirino, Kuroyukihime, Celty, Shana and Asuna – although a depressing number of the characters on offer are so far confined to support roles:

This game doesn't look too promising. Just looks like another game that's able to be completed in few hours. And after you complete the game you're left with crappy multiplayer ranging from a very small selection of playable characters. Sega is in on it too? Imo.. Sega was never good with making games to begin with. (Well console games that is.)

yes the video is the laggest and choppiest shit I've seen in a while.
The devs behind Melty Blood and UNiB, Ecole Software and French-Bread, have been announced as the devs of this game, so it actually has a decent chance of not getting Sega'd. Watched a bunch of the location test stream over the weekend, and it was looking pretty good, with a handful of good players cropping up for all characters. Damage could do to be a little higher across the board, but the whole point of these tests is to gather feedback anyhow.
And hey, at six characters, DFC already has as many characters as Killer Instinct is going to have at launch, right? Though that says more about KI than it does about the game that's not even close to release.
Nothing puts sweet little babies to sleep better than watching 2 defensive players go at it in an arcade fighting game.
I think they were just testing out their characters, since this arcade game just came out.

Such a shame this game will propably never be played on a professional level. Would be so much fun seeing Daigo or basically any professional player beat the shit out of the fools using Kirino. :P

Daigo and Tokido sucks at more fast/hardcore games. You better look up for players son.
Have you ever played Tokido? He doesn't spend a lot of time on the, "other", fighting games, but his fundamentals are solid regardless, and he's FAR from free. I remember him blowing up Dacidbro's Bang in the mirror back in the CS2 days, even though he didn't have nearly the same game and character knowledge.

What's wrong with M.U.G.E.N.?
Perhaps people should just get back to work on this game if they're so interested in playing games of this kind. You want to use Shakugan no Shana characters to beat Toaru Majutsu no Index characters? Then just download/create these characters in the mugen engine and be done with it.
MUGEN as a balanced, competitive fighter? Good luck with that.
(Note) I don't see a single thing that makes the graphics of this game even remotely better than that of MUGEN HD.
An Asuna vs. Kuroyukihime mother vs. daughter deathmatch over Kirito-kun. Awesome.
Touman as a support character? I hope that's only on the test release. There are bitches in need of his equality.

it's noy only on arcade they already confirm console/handheld release (no mention which platform yet it would definitely in one of the PS machine) tough.
arcade first is the norm for mst jp figthing game.
That's how games were traditionally made. It doesn't mean it won't get console releases - it just means there aren't any right now. It's not even released in arcades yet, really...
